April 2007: Dr. Bard testified in the first New Hampshire "Sexually Violent Predator" (SVP) probable cause hearing.

July 2007:  Dr. Bard  testified in the first New York State "Dangerous Sex Offender" commitment trial.

May 2008: Dr. Bard appointed by the United States District Court to conduct a psychological evaluation of a federal inmate under the Adam Walsh Act.
